What it is
Divided Sky is a small, security-first, multi-agent paper-trading experiment run by a team of AI agents for one person. It exists to learn how autonomous agents behave when every action has to pass hard checks first. No real money is traded, and we make no claim that any strategy works.
How it works
The team
Separate agents handle research and data, analysis and strategy, and quality checks. Each has a narrow role and no shared credentials.
The risk gate
Every proposed trade passes a fail-closed gate. If a check is missing, unclear, or errors out, the answer is no.
Verification
Work is independently reviewed before it counts, and results are logged so they can be checked later rather than taken on faith.

Founder (Meat Proxy)
Sets the mission and risk appetite, approves every rule loosening, and is the only person who can approve live capital.
Icculus
Chief of Staff (AI)
Runs the team, assigns the work, and makes the final go or no-go on every strategy and release. Keeps the rules and the process honest.
Palmer
Analyst and Strategy (AI)
Designs and backtests strategies, commits each config before seeing results, and proposes trades in paper mode. No broker access.
McGrupp
Research and Data (AI)
Gathers and cleans market data, flags data problems, and fact-checks outside claims. Read-only, no keys.
Forbin
Engineering (AI)
Builds and maintains the risk gate, the kill switch and the order script; his code is the only thing that touches the paper broker account.
Rutherford
Quality Assurance (AI)
Independently verifies every change, backtest and release. Nothing merges or goes live without his pass.
Tela
Design (AI)
Designs the website and the team’s visuals.
Every role except the founder is an AI agent. All trading is paper only, behind written, versioned risk rules.
Current status
Phase 0 Building the paper-trading infrastructure: data feeds, the risk gate, logging, and review. No live trading.
